For those of you who do not know what '42' is about I will explain it to you without giving away the whole plot. This movie focuses on Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers and all his triumphs and struggles of being the first African-American player in Major League Baseball. The movie shows Jackie starting in the minors and working his way up to the majors. The supporting cast does their job as it seems very realistic.
I was very emotionally moved by this movie and I found myself clapping in my seat whenever there was a good play by Robinson such as a steal or a hit! This movie is just not for dodgers fans but instead EVERYONE! Branch Rickey brought in Robinson to change baseball and he did that.
I encourage you to go see this movie at your local theater! I must warn you though that there is some HARSH language throughout so be sure you know that before you take your little son or daughter. Besides that the movie will keep your attention and entertained throughout and it will never get "boring".

After seeing the movie I went home and went on ebay where I bought myself a replica Brooklyn Dodgers Jackie Robinson. I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE!!! Jackie Robinson is my favorite athlete ever and will always be remembered for everything he did!
One last thing....HAPPY JACKIE ROBINSON DAY TO EVERYONE!!! I hope you supported by wearing blue( yes cubs blue works)! If you happen to catch any MLB games tonight be sure to look for the #42 on all the players jerseys!
